Private Reserve was over 50 years ago. Made from the high-rye Buffalo Trace mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley,
the Black Label Bourbon expression is exclusively for the Japanese market.

Blanton’s is a brand of bourbon whiskey produce and market by the Sazerac Company. Though it doesn’t own the brand, it has exclusive distilling rights. It is own by Age International, Inc.

In the winter of 1881, Albert Bacon Blanton was born into one of the first families of bourbon history. At the age of sixteen, he start work in the Distillery as an office boy and fast became a leading pioneer in the development of bourbon.
Again, From the time he is a company president in 1921 until his retirement in 1952, his Distillery expand from 44 to 144 buildings to become the largest Distillery of its day.
During that period Colonel Blanton create his very special and limit supply of bourbon – his private reserve – handpick and store in what now is known as the famous Warehouse H. Although Colonel Blanton died in the spring of 1959, his legacy lives. Introduce in 1984, Blanton’s namesake bourbon is the first ever Single Barrel Bourbon selling commercially. The Single Barrel Bourbon is the first of its kind.
The taste profile is sweet, with notes of citrus and oak. The creamy vanilla nose is tease with caramel and butterscotch, all underscore by familiar baking spices such as clove, nutmeg, or cinnamon. Blanton’s Original set the standard for single barrel bourbons in 1984. Best serve neat or on the rocks.
